Our hotel is located directly on the Baltic Sea resort Prerow on the Darß in the north of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The Darß is part of the peninsula chain Fischland-Darß-Zingst. With the "Darßer Jungle" and its surroundings, large parts of this unique landscape are assigned to the "Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft" National Park. The Prerow bay, characterized by the finest and snow-white sand, offers one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. Our BEST WESTERN PLUS Ostseehotel WALDSCHLÖSSCHEN is only a three-minute walk from the unique wide, white Baltic Sea north beach of the peninsula and the Darß. The waters around the peninsula are one of the largest bird resting areas in Europe in autumn and spring.Directions by car
Take the A19 motorway to the "Rostock Ost" exit. From here, follow the federal road 105 in the direction of Ribnitz-Damgarten or Stralsund to the town of Altheide. Then turn left following the sign Darß/Fischland. Now you drive always in the direction of Prerow. From the L21 turn left to the Ostseebad Prerow, always stay on the main road, which leads through the whole village directly to the beach. Follow the main road to the right for about 100 m until you reach the large white half-timbered villa. Attention! Speed camera warning in Körkwitz Hof - 60s zone!Arrival by public transport
By train: To Ribnitz-Damgarten-West. To Ribnitz-Damgarten-West there are several long-distance connections daily. Continue by bus, line 210, to Prerow. Ask about our transfer possibilities from the bus stop in Prerow to the hotel.
