The documenta city of Kassel is the capital of the German Fairytale Route and the place where the Brothers Grimm worked at the time. Here, Dorothea Viehmann told them the fairy tales that they later put on paper. Brothers Grimm Museum and other memorial sites can be found here, Germany's third largest museum city. Kassel is the cultural and economic center of Northern Hesse and now UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the numerous green areas of this attractive city, you can enjoy pure relaxation. From the landmark of Kassel, the Hercules in Europe's largest mountain park, you have a great view over the city. In the middle of the park is the castle Wilhelmshoehe with its exhibitions 'Alter Meister' and the 'Loewenburg'.
