Special Hygiene & Safety Measures Regarding COVID-19
The wellbeing, health and safety of our guests and team members is our top priority. To ensure this, we have introduced procedures, plans and rules so that all of our guests can feel safe when they stay at our hotel or even visit us.You can be assured that the hygiene standards specified by the German health authorities will be implemented extensively in the Best Western Premier Parkhotel Bad Mergentheim.
The measures include increasing the cleaning cycles in the public and guest areas of the hotels. Cleaning agents and disinfectants as well as disposable wipes are used. Particular attention is paid to the areas that are touched by many guests and employees, such as reception counters, flush buttons, light switches, doorknobs, taps etc.

The card readers, the reception counter, door handles, the elevators and general surfaces are regularly cleaned and disinfected
In physiotherapy, protective face masks, thin protective suits and gloves are available for our employees. Hygiene protection is set up at the reception. Disinfectants are provided for patients and staff. The distance control is also visible here.
Access to the hotel is currently only possible via the main entrance. All other accesses, including the supplier's entrance, are blocked and provided with a friendly note.

According to the Federal Center for Health Education, the following recommendations for action are the most important and most effective:
Shake hands in greeting and avoid hugs
Keep distance from others (1-2 meters), sneeze and cough properly
Regular hand washing and proper disinfection
Regular cleaning and disinfection of the surfaces with disposable wipes

Service Restrictions Regarding COVID-19
Wherever possible, there must be a distance of at least 1.5 meters from everyone present, unless the CoronaVO permits otherwise. The guests are to be informed about this before entering the restaurant.
Avoid physical contact, especially shaking hands and hugging.
Tables are to be arranged at a distance of at least 1.5 meters from each other and sufficient safety clearances when using traffic routes, in particular stairs, doors, elevators and sanitary rooms, must be ensured.
Guests must be assigned a seat, for example on chairs or stools.
The contact and communication of the employees with the guests is to be kept to a minimum during operation. As far as possible, serving trolleys should be used by the employees.
If possible, payment should be made without cash. Attention should be drawn to the cashless payment option. In the case of cash payment, the money must be handed over using a suitable device or storage space to avoid direct contact between the employees and the guests.
General hygiene rules must be observed to a special degree. The service may therefore wait.
Before entering the restaurant, guests are to be informed about the possibility of cleaning their hands by providing disinfection options or hand washing facilities with soap and running water and to be advised of the obligation to use them.
Surfaces and objects in the guest area, in particular table surfaces, armrests, door handles and light switches, must be cleaned appropriately immediately after contamination, if they are touched regularly, at specified intervals.
All available possibilities for ventilation of all rooms that serve the stay of guests are to be used. The service may therefore wait.
