Culinary ideas for your conferences

Luther's meal - What Luther already tasted! On it are cured young pig, cooked beef in the herb stock and fried chicken leg. Hearty pea and farmhouse bread as well as a selection of vegetables from Katharina von Boras Garten are served. Carrots, celery, cabbage and parsnip or parsley root. Small apple dough loaves with bee honey complete the historic taste experience. For this, we recommend the in-house Luther wine, which can be served as a Silvaner and as a Merlot. The food is served in special crockery made of clay. The basic color is earthy to green. All drinking vessels are also made of clay! And so that the ambience is right is served in the tavern, which corresponds to the rustic demand of the meal. Between the dishes there is a hint of blossoms, which served the decoration of special occasions as early as the 16th century. By no means was everything dull and gray at the time: people were looking for the play of colors. At least two and a maximum of sixty people will be able to enjoy the Luther's Supper.
