Best Western Hotel Vista Gives Lobby and Bar a New Look

The Best Western Hotel Vista has invested around 220,000 euros: The lobby with the reception and the bar have been renovated and refurbished. Furthermore, an additional elevator has been installed on the ground floor for extra comfort.

Ostrava, March 8^th 2018. Best Western Hotel Vista has gotten a new look: The lobby with the reception and the bar 007 have been modernized in order to increase guest comfort. Moreover, a new elevator has been installed, which brings guests from the ground floor up to their rooms. For the renovation around 220,000 euros have been invested. “You can capture a guest in the moment when he enters the hotel. In order to make guests feel comfortable right away, we decided to go for a mix of modern design and natural elements in all public areas”, says Kateřina Boldaňuková, General Manager of the four-star hotel.

Modern Design and Natural Looks

The former blue carpet in the lobby gave way for a new tiled floor. Hand-made Nepalese carpets set visual accents. Right at the entrance travelers can hang out on two armchairs. More couches are awaiting them in the lobby. Also nature was brought inside: The reception desk is paneled with rock veneer from India. A green wall with living plants has been installed right next to the reception desk. The concept can also be found in the Bar 007 on the first floor: On one side of it new armchairs in red and grey and a large grey couch for bigger groups invite guests to have a drink and relax like at home. The dining area has gotten new wooden tables and grey chairs. On the other side of the bar guests can sit right next to a piano and fireplace on new sofa chairs with patchwork patterns. Some of the walls kept their original orange color, in contrast others have been painted in dark grey. Plants hanging from the ceiling provide a natural look. “Also in the bar our main goal was to create a relaxing atmosphere by the use of modern design and natural elements. We wanted to invite our guests to have a drink, play chess or read one of the books from our library”, explains Boldaňuková.

Business and holiday hotel in Moravia

The Best Western Hotel Vista with 84 rooms is located in Ostrava, the third largest city of the Czech Republic. From the four-star hotel the city centre can be reached in ten minutes by car, nearby parks invite travelers to go for walk or jogging. In the restaurant BUENA VISTA, the kitchen team serves modern Czech dishes, complemented by seasonal specialties. At the Bar 007, guests can relax, have a drink, play chess, read and regularly listen to live piano music. The hotel also offers seven conference rooms for up to 560 people, which can also be used for private events. A fitness studio rounds off the offer.
