Worldwide Expansion with New Brands: 590 Hotels in the Pipeline
Best Western® Hotels & Resorts is expanding with new hotels and brands worldwide. The hotel group reveals its development pipeline at the International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF) in Berlin: Currently, in North America, Asia, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, South America and Oceania, 590 hotel projects are underway. Especially the brand Sure Hotel® is expanding quickly.
IHIF Berlin / Phoenix / Eschborn, March 5th 2018. At the International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF) Best Western Hotels & Resorts announced its global expansion plans. Around 590 hotel projects are currently in the pipeline. In North America alone the hotel brand counts 300 hotel projects, and approximately 290 more international locations are underway. Above all, the new brand Sure Hotel continues to surge with more than 70 hotels in the pipeline. Moreover, the group counts about 40 hotel projects of its newly launched soft brands globally, with a significant demand for the BW Premier Collection - the most exclusive of the three collections. “Best Western focuses more than ever on delivering exceptional value to hotel developers, operators and owners by offering a wide range of brand concepts. In Central Europe, the demand and interest in our core brands remain consistently high. With three new soft brands for all categories, we are attracting new target groups. We also see great potential in the Sure Hotel brand, which we have not yet introduced in our region", says Marcus Smola, CEO of Best Western Hotels Central Europe GmbH. “2017 was a very exciting year for us, because the first hotels in Germany and Austria benefit from the brand as members of soft brands without having a classic branding. We see great potential for further growth for this year. We look forward to bringing hotels to new destinations and growing with all our brands to further expand our presence in Central Europe”, adds Smola.
With 11 different brand concepts worldwide (10 brands in Europe), Best Western Hotels & Resorts today offers hotel developers, operators and owners tailor-made products and options with more flexibility than ever.
