Book presentation: Alexandra Potter presents "Love from Paris"

Alexandra Potter has presented the Czech translation of her book "Love from Paris" in Prague. The famous author was staying at the Best Western City Hotel Moran and presented the book together with TV-celebrities to press representatives in the neighboring Café Amandine.

Prague, June 22, 2016. Exciting visit in the Best Western City Hotel Moran in Prague: the successful English author Alexandra Potter stayed in the four-star hotel in the Czech capital to present her bestseller "Love from Paris" during her book tour. On June 13, the British author presented the Czech translation of her romance novel in the Café Amandine. Numerous press representatives and Czech TV-celebrities attended the book launch. The famous Czech actresses Ilona Svobodová and Jana Stryková, both of them godmothers of the book, were on site. Jana Stryková has a particularly close relationship to the story, as she has lent her voice to the accompanying audiobook as narrator.

Together with its cooperation partner Café Amandine, which is located directly opposite the hotel, the Best Western City Hotel Moran took care for a successful event in a relaxed and comfortable café atmosphere. “It’s amazing to welcome a star author like Alexandra Potter in our hotel, together with the TV stars. The presentation was a success, a good launch for the book. I bet it will succeed, too,” said Gabriela Pracharova, Director of the Best Western City Hotel Moran, after attending the book presentation.

Born in Bradford, England, Alexandra Potter has already published more than ten novels and books that have been translated from English into different languages. Prior to her career as an author, she wrote several years as a writer for magazines such as Elle, Cosmopolitan and Vogue around the world, including in the United States and Australia. In 1999 she published her first book "What's New, Pussycat?". Potter studied English literature and film at the University of Liverpool. She lives in London.
