Hotel Rooms as Home Offices

The corona crisis demands creative solutions for completely new challenges. Many hotels of BWH Hotel Group Central Europe are currently making their hotel rooms available as home offices. This is the group's response to the increasing demand for suitable off-site workplaces, and so it offers space for undisturbed and effective work.

Eschborn (Germany), 31 March 2020. Hotel office instead of home office - many companies have had to send their employees to their home office due to the Corona crisis. However, not all employees have optimal conditions for working from home. Lack of space, poor Internet connections or even romping children can make it difficult to concentrate and work effectively. Hotel rooms are a good alternative for productive and quiet work. Many hotels in the BWH Hotel Group are still open and offer the home office option in the hotel room. Most rooms have spacious desks, comfortable seating and a fast, stable Internet connection to make a working day comfortable and undisturbed for everyone. Rental is by the day or by the week and prices vary from hotel to hotel. Among others, home office offers can be found in the following hotels in Germany and Switzerland: Best Western Premier Hotel Rebstock in Wuerzburg, Best Western Hotel Ambassador in Baunatal, Best Western Plus Bierkulturhotel Schwanen in Ehingen, Best Western Hotel im Forum Muelheim in Muelheim, Hotel Essener Hof in Essen (Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western), Best Western Macrander Hotel Frankfurt/Kaiserlei in Offenbach, Best Western Plus Aalener Roemerhotel in Aalen-Treppach as well as in Switzerland in the ARTE Seminar and Conference Hotel (WorldHotels) in Olten and in the Best Western Hotel Spirgarten in Zurich.

Being there, also in the crisis
Many Best Western Hotels and hotels of the Worldhotels Collection, which belong to the BWH Hotel Group, have continued to open with the highest security and hygiene measures even in these difficult times. "Hotels that hold their ground in the current crisis deserve my full respect. Even though private overnight stays are currently prohibited in many countries like Germany, these hotels are helping those people who now have to spend the night on the road, such as field staff, truck drivers, auxiliary staff, nursing staff, doctors on call, police or fire brigade - all people who are providing such great support to all countries in these times. But also the offer of hotels to provide rooms as home offices is one of the positive examples of how hotels can support during the crisis," says Marcus Smola, CEO of BWH Hotel Group Central Europe GmbH.
