Special Hygiene & Safety Measures Regarding COVID-19
To protect our guests and employees (as of May 1st, 2020): General Hygiene has top priority in the Hotel Best Western Wetzlar. In order to do justice to the current situation, the hygiene guidelines have been further tightened and all framework conditions have been changed to ensure maximum security for guests and employees. All employees are trained in the necessary hygiene guidelines, All employees who experience cold symptoms will be in quarantine for at least 7 days, All cleaning duties are intensified, Crowds and long queues are to be avoided, All employees have received mouth-nose protection (washable), Whenever the minimum distance cannot be maintained, employees wear mouth-nose protection, Entrance areas: Automatic doors are "open" at peak times, Disinfection dispensers are installed in all entrance areas at the hotel. Reception / reception: Large, ventilated area, Plexiglass spit protection wall between receptionist and guest, 1.5m distance markings on the floor , "Please keep your distance" sign, Disinfection of all room cards after each use, no public fruit basket in the reception area, Mouth-nose masks can be bought at the reception. Rooms: Fixed allocation of room attendees, Disinfection of all light switches / handles with every cleaning, Ventilation of the room during the entire cleaning time of approx. 30 minutes with the window fully open (not tilted!) - if possible with a draft, Daily change of pillows or pillows with encasings, Change of cleaning rags after each room, Cleaning staff works with mouth / nose protection, In addition until all restrictions are lifted: Rooms remain unoccupied for 24 hours after occupancy
Special Services Regarding COVID-19
We prefer contactless payments - we accept all cards and payment can also be made via mobile phone, approval without signature for contactless payments under 500 euros, Long ventilation of the catering area before and after setups, In good weather conditions: Use of the outdoor catering area, Room service is offered without surcharge, Extended the lunch time from 11.30am to 2.30pm, Service staff will be wearing a mouth and nose protection
Service Restrictions Regarding COVID-19
Gastronomy / restaurants: Only 50% occupancy to make sure minimum distance can be kept,
Currently no breakfast buffet, alternatively we offer a la carte breakfast, in the restaurant every second seat remains empty to ensure the observation of safety distance, a la carte menu instead of lunch or dinner buffet, all beverages will be place on the table in separate bottles (water, apple spritzer), No salt and pepper on the table (unless requested), currently no coffee machine for self-service, staff will setup the tables wearing gloves, usage of paper napkins, tables will be cleaned only after the guests have left the table
