As of immediately, we have a full-time position available as a Room Cleaning Team Leader (m/f/d) at the Best Western Hotel Brunnenhof.
Job Description
- Management and Planning: You coordinate work schedules and vacation plans, schedule temporary staff as needed, and ensure that all employees are utilized efficiently.
- Quality Assurance: You will conduct regular room and floor inspections and ensure quality throughout the housekeeping department.
- Team Management and Training: You’ll select new team members, oversee their onboarding, and organize training sessions.
- Ordering and Inventory Management: You are responsible for ordering supplies, managing inventory, and overseeing the budget.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: You ensure the careful and cost-effective use of cleaning supplies, take care of the hotel’s furnishings, and report any necessary repairs.
- Communication: Daily coordination with management and the various departments is also part of your responsibilities, so that we can work together to ensure our high standards are met.
- Organization and Operations Management: You’ll support the team during peak hours, coordinate the cleaning of public areas, and ensure that operations run smoothly.
- Lost and Found and Guest Inquiries: You will manage lost and found items and handle special guest requests, such as additional blankets or ironing services.

What you bring
- Experience in a management position in housekeeping, preferably in the hotel industry.
- Organizational skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- A reliable, structured approach to work and high standards of quality.
- A friendly, confident demeanor toward guests and coworkers.
- Good written and spoken German; knowledge of English is a plus.
- Knowledge of labor laws and company standards.
