Special Hygiene & Safety Measures Regarding COVID-19
Following new measures implemented according to the information provided by the German Association for Food and Hospitality BGN at the Best Western Hotel Hohenzollern Osnabrück
It is our main Goal to ensure that you, as a guest, continue to feel comfortable and above all safe when staying with us during these times.
All employees have been trained in the current hygiene Guidelines.
The staff avoids all physical contact, pays attention to regular hand washing and the internal communication is limited to the essentials.
Disposable protective face masks and disposable gloves are available for employees (guests have the option of purchasing them).
The German Restaurant and Hotel Association, DEHOGA, has provided all companies with small checklists to use. We implemented this for our employees through an internal Hotel app.
Ventilation and disinfection are carried out regularly in all Areas.
Entrance area, lobby and public areas:
A disinfection dispenser is available for guests in the hotel Lobby.
Behavioral instructions are visible for all guests.
There are distance markings and other displays in the Lobby.
All surfaces and doors are cleaned and disinfected regularly.
There are disinfectant, soap and paper towel dispensers in the public restrooms.
The restrooms are cleaned and disinfected regularly.
We have a sneeze plexi glass shield installed at the hotel reception for each workplace.
Please drop your used room key in our designated box at the reception, these are thoroughly disinfected after every check out.
If you wish to pay cash, we have a small bowl where the cash can be placed while avoiding direct contact.
Reception, room cards, doorknobs, and surfaces are regularly disinfected.
There are distance markings.
The bowl of candy at the reception has been removed.
Instructions are placed in the elevators that only 1 person may enter at a time.
Elevator buttons and surfaces are cleaned regularly.
Only 1 employee works per Floor.
The room is thoroughly ventilated each time it is cleaned.
All surfaces and objects such as kettles, bottle openers, bathroom fittings, etc., are disinfected regularly
We no longer display flyers, pens and note pads in the room.
There is no hotel information folder in the room, but this is visible in our Code2Order app for guests.
The cleaning cloths are changed regularly and we work with disposable disinfectant wipes.
The seats in the restaurant and on the terrace are reduced by half.
A minimum distance of 2 m has been implemented between the tables.
In front of our restaurant there is a disinfection dispenser and instructions.
We have placed a display in front of the restaurant so that guests can wait there and then be placed by the staff.
The restaurant is marked with an "entrance" and "exit" and distance markings have been drawn on the Floor.
There is no buffet, only plate service with cover.
The staff in the restaurant and in the kitchen wear mouth and nose protection and disposable gloves.
Our dishes are cleaned in the dishwasher at a minimum of 60 Degrees.
We only offer breakfast as a table breakfast in the restaurant or put it "to go" in front of the room door.
Cutlery is not covered, but rolled up in serviettes and served on plates.
Salt, pepper, sugar and milk are only available in single packs.
All surfaces are disinfected regularly.
We keep record of all dates and times of all guests.
Participants are placed with a minimum distance of 1.5 m (only one person per table)
We record the data of all conference participants.
Each participant receives his own drinks on his seminar table including a thermos with coffee.
There is no self-service in the Lobby.
We separate coffee breaks and lunches of the other meetings in the house.
Side dishes for coffee breaks are served in the room (portioned per person and covered with foil).
Seminar tables, documents, equipment and the sanitary facilities in the event area are regularly disinfected.
The lunch takes place in the restaurant (we place two people per table / the individual tables in the restaurant have a minimum distance of 2 m).
Disinfectant dispensers for guests are available on the toilets in the event area (in the future, a dispenser will be installed in front of every seminar room).
Hand disinfectant dispensers are placed throughout the spa.
Plexiglass panes are installed at the spa reception as protection against spitting.
All beds are cleaned and disinfected before and after each use.
There are no textiles such as woolen blankets or pillows.
Employees must wear disposable gloves and a mouth and nose protection at work.
Spa bags are checked and disinfected regularly.
Access to the wellness area must be avoided while avoiding queues, the minimum distance in the wellness area is 2 m.
A maximum of 4 geusts is allowed to stay in the relaxation area of the wellness area.
The hygiene authorities and treatment lists (name, address, telephone number of each guest) must be able to be presented to the regulatory authorities (each wellness guest must be tracked on a list provided prior to any Treatment)
The pool can currently only be used by 4 guests at the same time.
The staff in the wellness area take a tour every 20 minutes to check.
The sauna reopened on June 22nd, 2020, but only for 1 to max. 2 persons, the staff of the fitness club take regular tours and instructions are displayed.
The training operation must be carried out without contact, i.e. No shaking hands to greet them etc.
The minimum distance of 2 m is guaranteed, barriers and regulations when accessing to the studio are in place
The sauna area, showers and changing facilities (except for the toilet facilities) are still closed.
Our staff tries to avoid queues when entering the Studio.
Risk groups should be protected if they want to exercise (risk participants are kindly asked to wear a protective face mask).
There is an access restriction, max. 30 members may train at the same time.
Protective face masks must be worn if the minimum distance of 2 m cannot be maintained (wearing the device is optional).
We record the dates and times of all guests.
The surface disinfection and the cleaning of the toilet facilities are carried out several times a day by our employees.
Each member is asked to disinfect the device independently before and after Training.
Special Services Regarding COVID-19
Digital Information folder accessible at "Code2Order" http://gss.onl/hohenzollern includes our food and drinks menu, the possibility to cancel or request Housekeeping service, table reservations in our restaurant and other information, such as hygiene rules about COVID-19.
Service Restrictions Regarding COVID-19
The restaurant menu has been temporarily shortened due to the current demand. The opening times have also been temporarily adapted to the special circumstances, meaning that breakfast is served Monday to Sunday from 6:30 until 10 AM, which is brought direclty to your table. 3 different breakfast dishes are available, which the guests have selected in advance. Alternatively, guests can order a packed lunch at the reception. The tables are also currently allocated to the guests in advance. Non-guests must register at the hotel reception before entering the restaurant. Lunch is served from 12 until 2 PM. We also offer cake, fresh waffles and ice cream from Monday until Sunday from 12 PM until the kitchen closes at 8:30 PM. We offer dinner from 6 until 8:30 PM.
Tables in the restaurant / bistro area and on the terrace are spaced with 2 meters distance, in order to ensure a minimum distance of 1.5 meters between guests.
