Dogs are very welcome

Put an end to the search for a dog friendly hotel. WE love our animal buddies. Therefore, we do everything that it needs to make not only your, but also your beloved four-legged friends stay comfortable in our Best Western Premier Parkhotel Kronsberg. We charge EUR 15.00 per day for the dog. A maximum of two dogs are allowed per room. The second dog stays free of charge.

Your four-legged friend will love it!

We provide the following for your four-legged friends:

  • Food bowl
  • Treats on the day of arrival
  • Poop bags
  • Cosy fleece blanket
  • Walking routes
First aid box in case of emergency on request at the reception:
  • Bandage material
  • Aluminium spray for wound care
  • Carrot soup
  • Frubiase Calcium (emergency care for allergic shock - insect bites)

A bowl, poop bags, as well as treats will guarantee your little friend a relaxed and comfy stay from the moment of your arrival. For the beauty sleep of your dog, we provide a cuddly fleece blanket. Please notice the your dog is not allowed to sleep in your bed. You would like to explore our hotel surroundings together with your dog? We provide you with helpful tips and great dog walking routes. Small or big rounds – whether nearby the hotel or a few minutes of a car drive away – there is a matching route for everyone.

No matter how sweety-natured your four-legged friend might be, there could be guests that are afraid of dogs. We want to show consideration. For that reason, the use of a leash is mandatory in our hotel. Thank you for your understanding.

Starting point: Directly from the hotel!

The path over the Kronsberg leads to a windmill. Enjoy the beautiful view over the fairground, the former Expo Park as well as Kronsrode. You can even see the Parkhotel Kronsberg from there. The route ends at the edge of the forest. There, of course, you can continue the discovery tour. In the natural forest, many moss-covered tree stumps invite you to search, sniff and adventure games. Alternatively, you can return to the hotel by the field mark.
Tip: In late summer, enjoy the apples of wild apple trees - for people and animals!

In the midst of restful silence, you will discover expansive water areas and green-lined banks. The route leads past an observation tower. Various signposts and information boards around the lakes point out further observation towers and walking paths.

Tip: Don't forget binoculars! Birdwatchers get their money's worth here: During migration season, the Kolding lakes are the largest area of bird gatherings in the Hannover region.

Strengthen body and soul in nature: The Deister is located about 30km southwest of Hannover and is a green paradise! Tip: The Annaturm is a striking lookout point at the highest point of the Deister. From the viewing platform you have a fantastic view in the direction of Hildesheim and the Harz Mountains, the Weserbergland or the landscape around the Steinhuder Meer in good weather. The tower is also a nice place for a hiking break. Various rest areas along the way are suitable for breaks in between. If you have lost your orientation, follow the signposts "Waldkater".
